Heraeus acquires business of DWM & Associates, Inc.

Heraeus Sensor Technology GmbH (HST), the world market leader for platinum temperature sensor elements has acquired the business of DWM & Associates, Inc. (DWM), its former exclusive U.S. & Canadian distributor and representative since December 2002. The transaction was completed on September 1, 2009. DWM will now be known as Heraeus Sensor Technology USA and continue to act as the company’s U.S. sales and marketing operation.

For the past 6 ½ years, DWM and HST have worked closely together to provide the North American marketplace with the highest quality products, service and technical support. As Heraeus Sensor Technology USA, the focus will be on expanding its capabilities, capitalizing on the industry-leading resources of HST to provide customers in North America more direct and efficient solutions for their temperature requirements.

Heraeus Sensor Technology USA will be headed by Dave Molnar, founder and president of DWM, and located at the former DWM office in North Brunswick, New Jersey. All DWM employees have joined the new Heraeus Sensor Technology USA organization.
